Gentle Care is a beautiful animal hospital located in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with very personable, caring staff. Dr. Cords is the best, his diagnosis is exact and he is so thorough. I feel my cats are in the best of hands at Gentle Care. I have had nothing but positve experiences with my visits there.

I agree! My experience how they cared for our Scottish Terrier and especially a Jack Russel/Poodle Mix Puppy (from a rather lousy pet store), who was very ill at the time: they treated our dogs as individuals and gave them the best medical care possible. The sick puppy got healthy and strong.

We left Ft. Lauderdale for 5 years - boy. am I glad, Gentle Care ist still here, and we will bring our dogs back to them shortly!

Gentle Care Animal Hospital is by far the best vet I've ever been to. I'm very particular about where my dog, Taquito, is taken and when I took him to Gentle Care, I knew I was going to the right place. He's been to other vets that are in an out of the room and there's no real care done what-so-ever, but Gentle Care was totally different. They explained the procedure so I wouldn't be nervous (Taquito was getting neutered) then when I called almost 2 hours early, they weren't annoyed at all. Instead the person that answered put me on hold and went to the phone closer to where Taquito was so she could tell him that she was talking to his mom. When I went to pick Taquito up, he was not groggy at all but instead a very happy puppy. The vet, Dr. Kerry, took the time to explain how the procedure went and how to care for Taquito, and told me I was doing a great job in caring for him so far.

Basically, I would recommend this vet to absolutely anyone. They took top notch care of my most precious possession and I know they would do the same for you! Check them out!
