The Lone Dentist
Dr. Gemp was the last resort of other dentists in Houston that could not correct an issue.
The screw that held the crown on an implant had been stripped by a dentist and after an hour in the chair, the dentist said that all that could be done was to file the crown down and remove it and it was partially due to a faulty implant.
A second opinion was obtained to the quality of the implant and it was determined to have been installed correctly. However, neither that dentist, nor the surgeon could remove the stripped screw.
Then here comes Dr. Gemp riding his white stallion with a gun that carried silver bullets.
In 5 minutes, Dr. Gemp used the pressure of my jaw to grasp the stripped screw and remove it. He said No big deal.
And as he rode off into the sunset - with me saying Who was that masked man? - It's the Lone Dentist the staff declared.
Truly, Houston is lucky to have a man of medicine that can work wonders.
