I have dined here before many times. Yes, the place is a bit pricy, but stop whining. You are paying for the quality of food and taste..those of you that have written negative reviews belong to or own other Indian Restaurants in the area. I find their reviews offensive. This restaurant is great if you want great Indian food. I have tried other Indian restaurant, but when it comes to flavor and quality, this is the best one!

I have heard this place is expensive for dinner, but I thought the lunch buffet was a great value. Also, this was the best Indian buffet experience I have had in LA as far as variety---far more choices than the typical Indian buffet. They even had chai! I would definitely go back, and bring friends, too. the restaurant itself is very nice with a classy ambience and decor.

uh huh. that is what i would title this restaurant. engaging the spices and herbs straight from india. i love the restaurants in new york much better than in los angeles, however, gaylord india restaurant is almost the same as my favorite india restaurant in new york. that is quite a big compliment to the gaylord india restaurant.

This restaurant gave birth to most Indian restaurants in L.A. as far as their curry goes. Its got this immense flavor that will leave you with a pleasant aftertaste for hours. The flavor is compared to: Bombay Palace (a mile west on Wilshire & not recommended) and Electric Lotus (Los Feliz, not so good reviews lately) but more pricier than the other two mentioned. The dining hall is what it suppose to be, quiet & comfortable, dimmed and not too overly lit.
It's good if you're in the area and in the mood (w/a date) otherwise there are many other authentic mom & pop Indian restaurants to choose from.

This is one of the worst Indian restaurants ever. The food was terrible and the service even worse. The portion sizes are way too small and everything is highly over-priced. The only thing nice about this place is probably the space they have. It's huge.
