We have been extremely pleased with both Gary Williams and his martial arts program. Master Williams takes the time to get to know each student whether child or adult. He's very encouraging and complimentary of his students while challenging them to be a better person both physically and socially. Our son looks forward to going to class, especially on game or themed nights (i.e. movie stunt week).

We have found that adjusting to the martial arts environment was our biggest hurdle. For example, each student is taught to respect authority which includes calling instructors sir, madam, or master. After a few weeks, we grew fond of the martial arts enviroment and its purpose.

As a father of an ADHD child I know first hand what having a child with ADHD can do to a family and a persons patience. I learned of Sensei Gary's school a few years ago when I was looking for an alternative to medication for my son with ADHD. My son had a lack of confidence in Middle school, which kept him from joining in any groups in school and he was always angry. I Met Gary Williams at that time, and became friends with him and his instructors at the school. Gary is a very caring person that takes an interest in each and every student. He is second to non in his abilities as a martial artist. as well. My son trained for a few years with Sensei Gary and I can honesty tell you my son would not be the confident, outgoing, well rounded, hardworking 18 year old adult now, without Gary's caring personality. He was a role model for my son, and is always talked about with respect. Oh by the way my son has been off the medication since he started the training.

I am writing this because, I wanted everyone to know how grateful I am for "Gary Williams Martial Arts school" and for the caring and dedication he has shown to help each and every child or adult that is looking for the best school in the area. I completely recommend Sensei Gary and his school, and I want to once again thank Gary for being there.

My daughters have been attending Master William's school for the past 10 months. Master Williams has helped my girls become more confident, more disciplined and more respectful. My children have been taking classes at GWMA for close to a year now. I have been continuously impressed with the training they are receiving. Discipline, character, strength, and positive life habits are emphasized in every class. All of the instructors are caring and compassionate to the students and appear to have each child's progress as a top priority in their minds. There is such variety and flexiblity in the classes available, as well as times classes are offered. I've witnessed, first hand, the instructors specifically working patiently and effectively with ADHD children. Instilling respect and responsibility in healthy and constructive ways.

I've also been taking kickboxing classes for over 6 months, which I can do while my children are in class. As a result I've lost 2 inches off my waist. I would definitely reccommend this school to anyone considering enrolling themselves or their children in Martial Arts.
