After they perform pre-0p bloodwork at VBMC-Brnsvl and after your private insurance applies the fee schedule allowance, THEN they notify you that they refuse to accept the fee schedule allowance as full payment. I recommend if you need pre-op bloodwork, you have it done by your primary care physican and/or the pathologist that normally does your bloodwork and honors your insurance. This will preclude a lot of unnecessary stress when you least need it.
