A surprise stop 'n shop full of fun stuff - soaps, candles, incense, wrapping paper, bacon bandaids, velvet slippers, great greeting cards, baby gifts, books, trinkets, odds and ends....out on Geary in the Richmond. Originally a stationary and office supply store - still sells such practicalities, but now has wonderful assortment of colorful and whimsical items - for impulse purchases, gift or cheer yourself-up bar of soap, calligraphy pen, key chain or file folder.

Gables is a great neighborhood office supply and stationery store that carries many different varieties of greeting cards for many occasions. Definitely a store to browse in for gift ideas and presents. It's like a Hallmark store and an Office Depot combined but in a more condensed version. I like this store because the staff is very friendly and they really know what you are looking for.

From office supplies to toys, purses and all stuff that comes in between, Gables has it all. They ahve something for everyone including unique gifts at great prices. Great place for office stationary as well.

Very nice and interesting store. They have lots of stuff a person can play with. The items they have are very unique. The store is very clean and has a home-feel to it. The workers there are soo very nice. They will help you in anyway possible. They are also very easy-going.

Gables is one of the best stationary stores in San Francisco. They have everything! From stamps, pens, paper to any little cute accessories and gifts. The owner and workers are very nice and easy going. They are friendly and answers any question you have for them. Definitely a store I recommend and will go to again.
