I received a flyer on my car claiming to offer discounted rates for auto insurance. I called the number on the flyer and spoke to a very rude man on the phone. He refused to offer any information on the typr of insurance provided unless I provide a credit card or check for $10.00 to process drivers license.

I inquired about this unusual practice and he became beligerant and hung up on me. My inquiries simply included: are you a private insurance company or a local broker from a larger firm and do you offer rental car coverage in your premiums? His return atatement was i already have a job and do not need you.

Not sure why that was the response but appears to be a scam.
