I lived in London for 2 years so was excited when I heard this offshoot of Tesco was coming to the US. I will say that the prepared foods are not as good as Tesco, but they are good enough to want to pick up when you don't feel like cooking. I do applaud that they have pasta with mini meatballs for kids. The pasta is whole wheat and the sauce is made of carrots and other veggies. My daughter loves it and it's really healthy. I haven't quite found my thing there but everything has been good. My husband *shocker* gets the fresh burritos.

Through my website I've had a little interaction with the California wine buyer. Fresh and Easy's wants to specialize in really good wines under $10, which I totally support! So far everything I've picked up there has been pretty good for the price.

This location is not near my house but is kind of near my in laws so we stop here on occasion. I don't think I would make a special trip otherwise.

I really like this place. But it is different from a "normal" grocery store. First off, it's smaller. Much smaller than the Vons and Ralphs in Loma Portal just a couple of miles away.

Secondly, they seem to focus on prepared food more than do other grocery store chains. By "prepared food" I don't I mean canned food or bags of chips that might last weeks if not opened. Rather I mean "perishable" prepared food, like refrigerated (but not frozen) entrees and salads, as well as sandwiches and wraps, that might only last a couple of days, even if not opened.

I really like a number of their prepared meals." Not just the taste, but also the convenience and the price. I once bought a really good chicken tikka masala there that I thought was almost restaurant quality.

But I expected to like this because I was already familiar with it. My wife and I lived in London a decade ago, and the main grocery store chain in Britain is called Tesco. We liked Tesco's prepared meals like these when we lived there. "Fresh & Easy Market" is Tesco's attempt to crack the lucrative American market under another name. Same food, essentially.

Lastly, I also really like the fact that they have automated, self check-out. I always use this at "Ralphs," too, and wish that this was more widely adopted.

Fresh and easy is a good place where you can shop for all your groceries. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. We usually buy tofu from this store. Usually they have some sampling section where you can taste some stuffs like Juice, chips etc which make you feel comfortable in buying that stuff. Cool feature !! Their own brand products are comparatively very cheap than other major brands. They also sell organic produce. They also send regular coupons of 5$ off on 25 and 10$ off on 50$ shopping. Their self check out counter is also a nice feature. This really saves a lot of time and you don't feel getting frustrated standing in a line.

This market is very pleasant to shop in and to find healthy choices. I love this market. The prepared food has proved to be very, very good and is very fairly priced. I am still trying different foods but I have loved everything so far.

Great neighborhood market with big selection of every kind of grocery items you need for very affordable prices. What I like most about this market, is that you can find many organic food choices much cheaper than in other places. I often shop there for pasta, noodles, breads, dairy, and etc., especially when I get a good mail-in coupon from them. Their produce is a little bit on a pricy side but it's clean and neatly packaged. The only thing, you have to be on your own there, as they only have automatic check - out machines -- no cashiers, and only of you have a problem with checking out your items a real person will come help you.
