if you want to know if your cake is really fresh, get them to show you the bottom of the cake, they always mark it with a letter, ask them what day that letter stays for, especially the cold cakes, they can be days old, customers are told everything is made from scratch and this is not so. All the specialy cookies come from a box premade as well as some of the breakfast items. So the owner lies when she says everything is made from scratch. This is false advertisement

I live in Charlotte,NC, but when I have a special occasion, I always make sure I get a cake from Freeman's. The cakes are so moist, and the icing is not to heavy. I also tried their caramel cake, that's also to die for. Try it, it will definitely melt in your mouth.
