He comes off as a father figure who just wants to help you but you end up doing all the work for him (writing up declarations, reminding him when court appointments are, etc.) He kept saying to leave the worrying to him and he knows what he's doing but in the end, I lost custody of my kids because he forgot to turn in the rebuttal in time and the judge sign the order that my ex lawyer drew up which was not what the judge order in the first place but what my ex wanted. Spent thousands of dollars and even when he screwed up in the end, he demanded that I pay for the rest of the retainer.
