After a getting a prescription from my doctor for the treatment of a common infection, I went over to Forest Avenue Pharmacy to have it fulfilled. The counter was modestly busy that day and there was a line. The assistant pharmacist took my slip and entered in my information, notifying me that it should only take 15 minutes because it was a common antibiotic that they already had ready on the shelves. Now, I don't know if she just told that same story to everybody to calm them(a few of the seniors were grumbling), but she was totally off. I waited about 50 minutes because of some hold up with someone's paperwork. It was a far cry from 15 minutes.
