Great outdoors store
Every time I'm in Boone or Blowing Rock I end up at Footsloggers. I love everything they sell. I always check in to see what sales they have going on, which usually can save you half or more sometimes, which is helpful since most of the clothing and equipment they sell is high end and technical. Great items you won't find anywhere else. The people are the best there. They all seem so happy to work there, and very knowledgeable about their products. They're not pushy either, they'll let you shop in peace, but they're right there when you've got a question. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get outdoors, or just looking for clothing that will last forever unlike stuff from the mall, or shall I say Walmart.

This is a great store, and they have EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you would need to do things outdoors in Boone or anywhere else. They have a great wall for climbing that my husband just loved. They are not so easy to find...as they are back behind other stores off of the main road, but once you find it, you'll sure never forget it.

Great resource for rock climbing and rapelling!! They even have a climbing wall and can hook you up with an awesome climbing experience. I plan to enroll my child in their rock climbing camp this summer.
