One of the most valuable resources available to the people in East County today is the Foothills Adult Center. Many classes are offered at rock bottom prices. Until the economic times prevented it, many classes were offered for no charge. Today, although there are fees required for most classes, the costs are still nominal. The course selections vary widely. English as a Second Language classes are available, various classes leading to a GED can be taken, and many, many classes designed to enrich adult lives may be found there. The range of interests covered is amazing. You can update your computer skills, learn musical keyboarding, paint, draw, increase your photographic skills, learn quilting, etc. the list goes on and on. There is something for everyone. In the summer, the course selections are fewer and the costs a little higher but it still remain the best value in town.
