Now that the "Floods" are over I would be remiss in not recommending this company to any of you unfortunate enough to have an experience like we just went through.

Around Christmas time we called Flood Response at 4:30 in the morning. Within 45 minutes two tired but clean-cut technicians approached our door. They were uniformed, professional and more importantly, friendly and empathetic to our plight.

Almost our entire home had flooded due to the massive down pour of rain. We later found out they had been working around the clock for almost 36 hours and we were "the last call" before these two young gentleman could call it a night.

I won't bore you with all the details except to say that they made a very difficult situation a lot less difficult and for that we are grateful. They explained the paperwork (there's lots of paperwork!), inspected the entire home for water intrusions and we couldn't believe how much water had soaked into our walls, we hadn't even looked at it that way.

They protected our furnishings to the best of their ability in our cramped home, extracted the water, almost 500 gallons, and over the next 4 1/2 days dried out our house. The machines were noisy but necessary.

We had only 2 issues that concerned us a bit, one was the next day it was two different technicians who came to monitor and finish up the work. Frankly we liked the first two so much we were a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the other two were great as well, we just prefer the continuity of seeing the same people. Thankfully we did see Todd and Noe again at the end of the project and that was nice.

The other issue was the cost. Pricing was clearly explained but we didn't realize this could cost so much. What hurt the most is that insurance doesn't cover outside rain water. We asked for a discount and got a 10% Senior Discount which helped a lot. Their office was very helpful in setting up reasonable payment terms.

All in all, we were very pleased and would recommend them. They have high standards! -Jim
