Caught between a swim and a dry spell? Drip dry on flipnotics' deck after a bracing swim in Barton Springs Pool just to the west in Zilker Park. Flipnotics is laid back with one barista who was voted most likely to know your name in the Austin Chronicle. There is a wide range of great coffee drinks, Italian sodas, as well as some muchies and yes, pie. The location on Barton Springs Road is convenient for anyone using the park.
Pros : Relaxing place to drink coffee and hang out, write a novel, argue intellectually with friends, strum a guitar, or air dry from your swim.
Cons : Parking is very limited.
