The Fish House Vira Cruz has been a family favorite for years. we love the atmosphere and the food is amazing every time! lots of great favorites like prawns,fish tacos,clam chowder&bread to die for. my 8 year old son eat an adult salmon every time. much better than any fast food any day no matter the price.

One of my favorite restaurants... the food is always of good standard, the fish always available. What keeps this from being five stars is that the prices have almost doubled in the last year. The portions remain large sized and I can never eat everything on my plate so there is always enough for another meal. Love it!

My husband and I really like this restaurant. I understand some reviewers were less than wow'ed by the side dishes and the atmosphere, but the fish is always fabulous, the oysters fresh and clean, the wine list above average. Yes, I suppose you are better off coming in early, but if you like fish this is the place.

Been in the area for months and was anxious to try this place thinking Vera Cruz had a Mexican flare to it... but turns out its just the name of a boat. Fish was good, but everything else was not. Rice tasted like butter, veggies were veggies, cole slaw was bland and mashed potato had a layer of cheese that tasted like a layer of cheese on a potato. Nothing special going on here... unless you get fish a la carte.
