Great growing church, big plans ahead by A R. at InsiderPages

We've been going here a few years. Dr. Wood is a very humane, down to earth, honestly faithful pastor, and the rest of the pastoral staff are equally in touch with the church's spiritual needs. First Pres is undergoing a huge construction project, which when completed will upgrade the sanctuary, the courtyard, the entryway, and many other parts of the facility. Our kids love the childrens and teen programs. This is a great place to worship.

We have been going to this church since 2003. The pastor used to be a scientist, and is very smart. The children's ministry is wonderful! The church is being remodeled, so the outside looks a bit demolished, but it is wonderful to see such growth.

The youth pastor is wonderful with the teens. They have gone to baseball games, Universal, the beach and had barbecues!

We are so glad to be a part of this congregation!

PROS: The people are very caring - and NOT pushy!!
