I had been here before and my son was always good but I realize how good they are when I took my son to another place that was closer to where we live and I had to hold him just to get his hair cut.

But at First cuts Lindsey did a great job of making him feel comfortable again and he came out with a great hair cut.

I will never again go anywhere else.

I have had the best experience at first cut for kids! They are so kind to me and my whole family! And they are the type of people that put the customer first and i admire that in a company! They treat you like family. The stylist know what there doing! I have had the best haircuts there for my son! The stylist always know what i want and how i would like it to be! The front desk ladies are always so kind to me! The store is Always clean.. First cut for kids is a great salon for children!

I cannot disagree more with the review I just read about First Cut 4 Kids in Mission Viejo Mall. We have been going since they opened almost 3yrs ago and my children have a favorite stylist there. They treat us well and they give us a fantastic cut. It surprises me that it was dingy there, as I always see the owner cleaning the store. I think they may have caught it on an off day, and she should give them a second chance. Ask for Kathy.

We walked OUT!!! We were all excited to get our 11th old Son's first hair cut. We had the video camera AND the digital camera ready!! But then I started really looking around. The place with the spaceship seats that looked so clean from the outside, looked pretty dingy once you walked in. The spaceship was clean, so I decided to stay. Then my Son was handed a basket full of gross toys to play with and put in his mouth...eeewww. I promptly told them that we had our own toys to play with, thank you. My Son was crying by this time, the lady hadn't talked to him or made him feel at all at ease. I should also note that my SON RARELY cries...I am serious. If the dirty toys weren't gross enough, the lady came at my Son with FILTHY clippers!! There was all sorts of hair caked in the blades. I asked he to please clean them....I really didn't order a staph infection or folicalitius with his cut!! She looked at me like I was a nut, but started cleaning them anyway. My Son was still crying, so I gathered him up and we all left. I would NEVER go there again, and I am thinking about reporting the lack of cleanliness. So, Logan's hair is still long, but at least he's happy!!

This salon is one of the best!! They really know how to handle children.. They were super great with my daughter for her first haircut! At first i thought it was a little over priced but than i realized that they do a fantastic job!!! They have great stylist! And especially the girls that work at the front desk are super friendly!!!
