My family has been going to this church for some time now, and I was a member until I moved. When I came back First Baptist church had gotten a new pastor. I love him he is not afraid to put the word out there. Today in this world there are alot of churches that worried about not upsetting their members, and trying to hard to keep every one happy and warm in side. I went to a church and the pastor there was all about FUN that's fine but what about Christ? Today churches are so into keeping every thing warm and safe, they Forgot that the word is not always warm and political correct way, that we are NOT getting the lesson the Lord wants us to hear I want my feet to hurt! I want to feel the word even if it means I have to feel guilt, sorrow, along with safe and warm! If you want the Holy Spirit, if your soul is hungry for the word go to this church!! In today's wold we need Christ now more than ever and not in a nice political friendly way we NEED the word to be Strong, Meaningful,Uplifting, Truthful, and we need it to be just the way Christ would want it to be. Christ died for us so we can have salvation we can at lease listen to the word they way it was supposed to be, Thank you First Baptist Church of New Caney for your welcome and for the great service look forward to next week there.A child in Christ may peace be with you.
