I go to this Chinese school and even though most of the teachers are REALLY mean, you learn quite a lot there... the sticker system is old, what the teachers do now is rewarding the kids with candy. Doesn't work well with the older kids like us... The teachers yell at you for getting a low grade, make the parent sign the test paper (and get yelled at again) and you are rewarded with.... chocolate. -_____-lll We have classes at neighboring First Avenue middle school. :D It used to be fine, but lately there has been construction so some little kids got hurt. There's some chaos every week but things are run fine. FYI: the principal od the chinese school is also the mayor of arcadia. ;) and i agree with below comment. we get yelled at by angry teachers and are forced by parents to "learn" chinese... hey at least there are friends to hang out with!‎
