This is a rip-off joint

I am familiar with this place for over 15 years. I used to use them for oil changes. Foolishly I went to them on occasion for other problems. I am aware of similar problems that friends and family had as well. Firestone knows all the tricks to charge you more than what they quote. And forget about it if you let them tell you what needs fixing. They have spare nails to show you, and claim a nail was removed from your tire that went flat. They will find a way to have you buy a new tire rather than repair it properly. This has happened when the real cause was separation or eroded tire rims that needed to be "re-sealed."
