This place has good food, but the service is lagging. They always seemed too rushed, and have gotten my order wrong.
Overall I would go back because of the food and price.

Every time I am in Jamul, I get hungry for pizza because of the great pizza I get here. Not all the Filippis are the best, but this one is!

Filippis makes excellent pizza, and is probably my favorite place to get pizza from. I really like their crust, especially, and I think in San Diego it goes very well with the sauce and the cheese they use. I also highly recommend their antipasto, which is served in a very good portion and very delicious. It is located in Jamul, which can be quite a drive, but if you are in town or nearby it is a great place to cool down and get a bite to eat. The service isn't that impressive, and neither is the building itself, but I guess Jamul is kind of a sleepy town anyway.
