Ferrell is the "other" prominent propane service in Idyllwild. (There are only two gas companies which have a local office.)<br />
Ferrell will tell you how to get the best price (Join the Chamber or join one of a couple of local homeowners associations.)
Pros: All propane is essentially the same, but Ferrell's pleasant local rep will see that you get a good price. This is especially important for people who use their local home as a second home.<br /> Service has been very good. (We use the keep-filled option.)<br />
Cons: My "cons" are for the "other" gas company who enjoyed a virtual monopoly on the hill for years, took advantage of the fact by jacking up their prices to unreasonable levels. We got screwed by them for many, many years without realizing the facts. Most of my neighborhood has switched to Ferrell, except for one neighbor who is an employee of Suburban. Of course he assuredly gets the best price of anyone.
