Now this is a dental office I can trust. Family Dental Foster City did an excellent job with a tooth ache I had. I hardly felt that needle that I have a huge dislike for. I needed a filling that was in bad shape replaced. Another dentist here in the city said I needed a crown. Family Dental said my old filling had a leak and that was the reason I had pain. No need for a crown lets just redo that filling and be on your way. All is well now and I'm not a few hundred dollars poorer because Family Dental isn't out to milk a persons bank account dry with unnecessary work, they are very professional.

On my first visit they showed me all my teeth one at a time on a monitor so I could see what my teeth were looking like. Maybe I didn't need to see my teeth so big and up close but now I know first hand that my old filling wasn't sealed properly.

Thanks for being open 7 days a week. It really helps when you have a busy schedule like mine.

Everyone is wonderful at Family Dental. I have a dreadful fear of dentist offices but since I have been coming to Family Dental that has improved tremendously! I always tell my friends and colleagues how wonderful the dentist treats me! I refer to you when ever I can! See you soon!

I'm horrible about taking care of my teeth and I was in so much pain this weekend. I frantically called around looking for dental offices that were open. Thank goodness family dental was open and they were able to fit me in right away. I can't believe they are opened 7 days a week. The girl on the phone was so sweet and understanding about the situation I was in. The Dr. that examined me was great also. I'm usually afraid of dentists but this dr. made me feel comfortable and was really gentle. She relieved my pain and I'm so glad I found this office. I would definitely recommend everyone to go to this office.

I have been going here for over 5 years now. They always keep their office up to date. Their doctors are very knowledgable and always explain everything very well. They are able to show me my cavities with large digital xray pictures. Even though I'm not a dentist even I can see the holes in my teeth on these large pictures. They are open 7 days a week. It is great to have a dentist that is open these hours. I remember when my old dentist was only open from 4 days a week. I always seemed to have a problem when he was not open. I highly recommend this office.

Family Dental is incredible. I went for my regular cleaning and they used this cool laser device called a Diagnodent. With this laser they were able to diagnose cavities long before they would have turned into root canals or extractions. The dentist was explaining to me that our teeth are a lot harder because of fluoride and it is a lot harder to diagnose cavities the old way. This laser device can somehow bounce light into the tooth and find these cavities when they are smaller and have not ruined the whole tooth. If your dentist doesn?t have one of these you have to show them this info.

The next cool thing they showed me was the small camera that fits in the mouth, which magnifies the teeth something like 20 times. They were able to show me cracks in my teeth, which was proof that I needed a crown to keep the tooth from breaking apart.

Then if this wasn?t enough they used some kind of digital xray that again increased the magnification in order to see the cavities long before you could see them the old fashioned way. I remember my old dentist pointing to some dot on a little tiny postage stamp xray and all I could say was ya I guess I can see it. With this digital system they are able to really show me the cavity.


This office really brings dentistry into the 21st century.
