Lisa is awesome with eyebrow waxing! I have been to other places to have them waxed, but they NEVER have turned out as well as when Lisa has waxed them. She knows the exact amount to remove and how to arch them in a way that looks natural and in porportion with your facial structure. I will not go anywhere else. My mother has her eyebrows waxed by Lisa and feels the same.

Life deals its cruel blows, but now I have a partial remedy in Faces massages - highly recommended! They have a very nice massage room - quiet with soft music, subdued lighting, and gentle fragrances. And - here's the best part - body worker Diana connects with me just right. Sometimes gentle and serene, sometimes direct and getting the kinks out, but overall almost orchestral in the way she integrates it all into a last, long note that leaves me feeling super relaxed and healing! I've also had some great massages there from Jason. All in a very professional service setting - highly recommended.‎

There is only one place in Santa Cruz county to get any waxing done - Faces! Lisa has been doing it for so many years she could do it with her eyes closed. Whatever your request, Lisa will never make you feel uncomfortable. I once thanked her and told her how much I appreciated how at ease she made me feel, even while getting a Brazilian bikini wax. She laughed and said, "I've been doing this so long, "it" might as well be a knee." I can't tell you how comforting, friendly, and thorough she is! After awful experiences at some "high end" salons in the area that hire young girls right out of beauty school, it was such a relief to find someone so professional. What a difference!!

I got a wax here once and I was very unhappy with it. The woman who was waxing me was getting her hair done at the same time. She had hair color in her hair while giving me a bikini wax! And she said I needed to be quiet because the person next door was giving a massage and the walls did not go all the way up to the ceiling.
