When my eye doctor left town a few years ago he sent my records to Eye & Vision Care. I've seen every doctor there and worked with all the optical staff for adjustments to my glasses and contacts and I think they are all very caring and helpful as well as prompt and courteous.

I have been going to Dr. Nomura at Eye & Vision Care for 10 years. He is a very caring optometrist/ophthamologist. He is calming and thorough. He cares just as much about your eye health as getting you to see clearly. I have had his prescriptions filled here and also at LensCrafters. I think the ones filled at Eye & Vision Care were superior. Staff in any business can be inconsistent, but I have not experienced any rudeness or bad behavior reported in one of the previous reviews. The only time there was a delayed appointment it was because they called to tell me my glasses came in but did not pass their quality control and they sent them back. I like that kind of concern about quality. Also, they share a parking lot with South Coast Deli which is a great lunch spot.

They charged me 50 dollars to reschedule my appointment. They failed to call me to remind me about the appointment I had made (and then lied, stating that they had call and even had the nerve to say that they had left a message). I have caller id and I check my messages all the time. I did not recieve a call.They failed to give me charging information (I wanted to see if my insurance covered the procecure) and when I had my appointment they said that my insurance did not cover it, so I was charged. They will find all means to charge you. BEWARE!!!
