Since we became parents, my husband and I eat more pizza than we probably should. We love Extreme Pizza. My husband always orders a Yard Sale pizza which has a bunch of toppings on it, kind of like a meat lovers pizza with a few veggies sprinkled in. When we dine in, I order a Wobbs salad which has chicken, bacon and blue cheese. It's huge with generous portions of well cooked meat. My daughter orders a kids meal which comes with a juice box, huge slice of pizza and a fruit cup. I need to remember to take advantage of the lunch specials more often because they're pretty good value.

The dine in or delivery service is pretty speedy. They serve good microbrew (and even gluten free) beer. They delivered to the local park for a birthday party we were just at. They also have big party sized fresh salads for around $20 which is totally worth it. I ordered one the other day to serve with pizza and it fed about 10 people. I'm a salad eater and they're really good. If you're having a party, check out their party options. I forgot they had them.

I work right down the street form extreme pizza and i have many choices as where to eat, but i always end up going to extreme pizza. They have a large selection of signature pizzas that always keeps things interesting when I eat. The people who work here are always quick to help and always serve with a smile. As long as they stay in business, I'll be eating extreme pizza.

I really like "Extreme Pizza." We have ordered it to be delivered many times. This one is located just a few miles form our house. Whenever we've place an order with them, it's always been delivered quickly, usually in a half hour or less. As a result, the pizza is still hot when it arrives, which makes a big difference with pizza I think.

Over the years we've ordered pizza from almost every national chain and local pizza place anywhere near our house. And we've experienced delivery problems with almost all at one time or another, except Extreme Pizza that it. It's always been problem free for us.

A few other reviewers have said that Extreme Pizza's prices are high. That may be true on its face. But they are always mailing around coupons. When we use those, I don't think that it's much more expensive than, say, Dominoes or Papa Johns.

They will always be at least a little cheaper, I expect. But I like "Extreme Pizza" better myself.

Ok, I know what you are thinking - That's not saying much, but this is really good Pizza. I stopped in last night after an event in the Village and enjoyed two slices (really more like 4 they were so big). Good crust, obviously fresh toppings and just the right amount of cheese. It's a little pricier than your average pizza joint, but you get what you pay for. I'll definitely be back when I need pizza in La Jolla.

If you follow on Twitter or sign up for emails you get great deals. In addition to pizza they have calzone's, sandwiches, fresh salads & wings. They offer the no-cheese-lower-fat-options as well as gluten-free.
