I was attracted to the amenities the day care offered, but was concerned about the ratio of staff to dogs on the floor. While the dogs are screened fights do occur and I did not think a ratio of 30 dogs to one is adequate or safe (that was what I saw from a previous visit). The attitude from staff is one of arrogance rather than welcome.

Every Dog's facility is nice but has an unpleasant odor and somewhat unpleasant staff. My dog was interviewed by a woman named Lorrie who was not very friendly and acted as if she was doing me a favor instead of seeing me as a potential customer. I just got a bad vibe. The facility looks great from what I was allowed to see and it is in a good location but I opted to take my dog to Citizen Canine where the reception my dog and I had was 100% improved over that of Every Dog.

Everydog is a dream come true to people who have busy schedules, have sudden out of town trips, or are having trouble with a new puppy. They offer everything from training to hotel services.

The most important thing they offer is the personal attention to your dogs needs: whether its socialization, specialized diets, or obedience.

The service isnt exactly cheap, but when you subscribe for several months at a time the costs come down and are comparable to what dog-walkers charge.

They are located on a quiet side-street of Emeryville close to the Amtrak station. If you live in Berkeley-Emeryville or farther north, and work in the Emeryville-Oakland area, its an easy stop on your way to/from work.
