Racist people!!
Like other Chicagoans who often travel to south Asian countries, I was frustrated with the existing carriers and very excited to hear that Etihad was starting its operations from Chicago so I broke down and made my booking 3 months in advance to go to India. The travel agent re-assured that my seats and pre-booked and bassinet for my 6 months old baby was confirmed. Hear my story people.... the shit hit the fan the very first moment we entered the checking counter at O'Hare. First off, checking agents were totally clueless and rude. Seats were separate, No bassinet for the baby. Made us wait for 45 minutes in line to get the things straighten out. On Board - , "a world class experience" ( As they say in their commercials) was surprisingly turned out to be an "out of this world experience". The flight was old and stinky..
