These people really know what they are doing. The place is spotless, well-organized, and offers the kind of personal care you can only get from a smaller operation. (I've seen the back area, too.) Dr. Rozycki is especially good with animals. He is not only exceptionally loving and attentive, but he is an expert with phlebotomy (finds the vein every time; always painless to the cat), dental surgery, and any procedures he's done for my three cats. He is also very sensitive to weighing the benefits of a procedure versus the stress it would cause to the animal. I believe the other vets are very good, too. One of them recommended a very effective joint-restoring supplement to a friend of mine, and it worked wonders for her cat. The senior vet tech staff is also highly skilled and intelligent. This place is a gift to the community. PLUS, the prices are fantastically reasonable. Highly recommended!

Well, not really--our cat is never happy when she goes to the vet! But I am. It is a highly loving and caring veterinary office and we are thrilled with their services.

We have been clients of ECVH for 5 or 6 years and would never consider another vet. They are the most caring and considerate vets we have ever encountered. They are thorough and concise and their fees are very reasonable. We had a cat with hyper-thyroid that was very old. His condition deteriorated to the point where we had to consider putting him to sleep. I didn't want to put him through the trauma of going back in the box and driving there. One of the doctors offered to come to our house to administer the drugs. He went to sleep peacefully in comfortable surroundings and for that we are forever grateful. I would never consider another vet!

I find these vets to be responsible, educated and truly interested in your cat's health. I should know.... I have been to about 7 vets in SF while dealing with a very sick kitty. The vets at Especially Cats were actually referred to me by a veterinary oncologist. These vets have a progressive stance on vaccination and obviously belive that it is best for the consumer to make informed decisions about their pet's care. The also are approving of a home prepared diet for cats. As the name state they only work with cats...

Great staff and great service. I take my cat there all the time. They take good care of him and is always happy to see the staff working there and the other cats. They are also very nice to me too. It is very nice to see a verterniary hospital especially for cats. I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.
