I made my first visit to Esoterica two years ago when I needed to escape some bad vibes and bad weather in Chicago. I had issues with my condo neighbors and Mimi had an open ear for me and used her own psychic insight and care to coax me into taking action and manifesting some positive results rather than stewing and steaming in regret. I found Mimi to be an upbeat, artistic, strong and positive woman very excited about her practice and pointing out what would or would not be useful to me. She had some deep felt and caring advice for me and the products she has in her store are always so beautifully prepared and artistically packaged that you just want to indulge and practically take the entire store home with you. Her store is very cozy and relaxing and it is almost like eye candy to view all her creations whether you are looking for a doll or a bottle of perfume. I strongly encourage any tourist to visit Esoterica and possibly even indulge in a card reading. I love Mimi's bubbly and warm personality and if you serious about herbs and homeopathic remedies she has the knowledge to give you sound advice and the enthusiasm to teach you how to heal yourself with positive manifestation and focus.

I've been a practitioner of the arts for a long time, I've been to MANY a witches closet and NONE of them has satisfied my needs quite like The Lady Mimi!!! It's been nearly six years since I've been to NOLA and I remember MY experiences there...( Especially at Esoterica, and the great advice she gave me! ) like it was YESTERDAY!... And to the persons that left the bad review...I'm sure that NOBODY ever PI*SED YOU OFF before...SORRY but that review was totally off the mark...and uncalled for!!! Another 2 satisfied witches in Alabama!!! LONG LIVE THE LADY MIMI!!! Gotta Love Her Y'all!!!

I was so looking forward to my much aticipated visit to esoterica. Upon arriving, I was 'overlooked" due to the on-going rant by Lady Mimi with what seemed to be a friend in the shop at the time. She was going on and on about how much she "hated" this person...no regard to my needs.
I plan not to return to esoterica, I prefer to shop in a more positive, professional environment.
