I am a healthcare provider in escondido and have repeatedly seen incompetent care of patients from this facility. I would not recommend this care center.

This past weekend my dad died unnecessarily in the "care" of these people. Due to health issues my father required supervised meal times in order to prevent choking. "Supposedly" he was being supervised during his meal, but somehow he managed to choke to death. I was told that food was removed using the heimlich maneuver but they were unable to resuscitate him, however, they did not and still will not admit to the coroner and paramedics that they had to remove food. His death is being treated as death by natural causes. The Director of Nursing refuses to give me an incident report and states she doesn't have to under "The laws of the United States of America". My dad was at this facility temporarily, I was to be moving him to live near me this week. My dad was full of life and he did not last four weeks in this place. Do not send your loved one to this facility.
