I love all of Molly's classes at Equinox. She is a phenomenal teacher. They have a lot of fun dance classes too. I also like Jean's yoga class. Too bad her noon classes were cut. Love the location. Just hope they will not raise the membership fee anymore. Eva‎

Equinox is nice as far as equiment and classes, but if you like to workout later in the evening or on the weekends the hours are very limited. If you need childcare it will cost you and extra $10 per session, which is very high considering you already pay $129 or more for your monthly memebership. I use to belong to this gym before I had my son and I just recently cancelled my membership as they are just not child friendly. As new parents it is important to us to be able to workout at various time and sometimes that means Saturday night, but they close at 7PM on Saturday and Sunday and have limited hours during holidays. I also think their childcare looks dirty! I can't tell if it is actually dirty or if it is just old and worn.‎

I have been a member of Equinox for four years now and every year I get the same letter that they are raising the monthly dues. Enough is enough. This time I am canceling my membership if they go to $140.00 a month. The fact they raise 27 other memberships, they will gain nothing if one member leaves. Does not make a whole lot of sense. Something tells me there are a lot of members that feel the way I do.‎

Equinox is one of the few gyms around with an outdoor pool (on the roof!) You can always get a lane, and the pool is always clean and well heated (year round). The gym equipment is also top notch and the staff is, for the most part, very friendly.
