Equinox is a beautiful gym but very expensive. They increase the rates every January without fail. The cost has gone up $20 in the last three years. I canceled when it reached $139. Make sure to cancel 45 days in advance. ...

Still my favorite NYC gym.
Seven years ago, I had surgery and rehabbed at the rehab facility at the Equinox on 43rd and 5th. With my rehab, I had use of the elite facilities for 4 months. I was spoiled by the steam sauna, and amenities like razors, mouthwash, q-tips, ...
