If you are into group classes, I'd say Equinox Westwood is one of the finest in the Westside. I like working out and staying fit. I know I can do it alone but classes are fun. I have all access and like the layout here a lot, especially the cardio and weights area are right next to each other. I have to drop one star not because of the pricing as much but the crowd here is less "gunhold" than I have seen at the West Hollywood location or my second gym -- Gold's. But then it is closely located within 5 miles where I live and the staff here I find has zero attitude. They make such a big effort to say both "Hi" and "Goodbye" to you. I really appreciate that aspect and of course the unlimited supply of fresh towels and parking validation, you do get more than what you paid. I would recommend people join here take classes otherwise why bother paying high price for just tread-milling and weight-lifting??? Instructors are def. the best and again this alone would have been a 5-stars rating. I will rest my case now.

Pro: CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

Con: Getting too crowded and management changes has deteriorated upper management services.

Ask Steve for any membership questions/concerns. He really takes care of his clients. The other new girl is kind of crazy.......

If you need personal training, you should receive it from Mark Decker or Aaron Delgrolice.

They also offer top notch fitness classes taught by industry veterans. I.E. Marc Montemerlo's class.

I tend to find the equinox crowd more down to earth and not so fixated in trying to pick up people at the gym.
