Try the bibb salad! by Tiffany M. at InsiderPages
I came here for a light meal and ordered the bibb salad for my meal. It was like no salad that I have ever tasted! The lettuce tasted buttery and almost creamy. There were spicy pecans and crumbled blue cheese. It went so well together that I tried to duplicate it at home. Since I'm not such a great chef, I'll be back soon to have another salad! The service was very good, and, for once, I didn't get attitude for having a appetizer for my meal. What a rare thing.

Perfect birthday evening!
I took my self-proclaimed "food snob" boyfriend here for his birthday. We got a great little nitimate booth across from the kitchen (but there are mostly tables elsewhere). We had at least 4 different people help us initially which left us confused as to who our actual waiter was, but it was nice to have all the service. Unfortunately our waiter was a little lacking in the service department and was very quiet (though very polite and nice), but the others I observed were more upbeat and outgoing. They had a great wine list with many price points. We went at 9pm on a Friday which I assume contributed to the depletion of oysters on the half shell, but our entrees filled us up! I had the crispy duck which was entirely too much food, but I couldn't stop eating it was so delicious. And they kindly substituted the cabbage for the fall vegetables. My boyfriend had the filet mignon and could not stop raving. Obviously, we had no room for dessert (although the bl--d (Citysearch won't let me put the word!) orange sorbet sounded fantastic), but we did settle on some port and a cigar out on the very cozy, romantic heated patio. Eventually, the bartenders came out to join us and then called us their special cabbie who was a polite Aussie. A perfect evening! Just another note, we noticed a lot of things coming out of the kitchen that were not on the dinner menu. We finally decided that they must be on the bar menu. Some of them could have been good appetizers, but we didn't realize until our entrees had arrived. So you might want to see if you can order from the bar menu if you want additional selection. Also, all of the water is $6/bottle which isn't outrageous but does add to the cost if you like to drink agua!
