Happy with 3 PhotoFacial treatments so far
I have really sensitive skin (rosacea, sun sensitive), so I was worried, but they did a great job. I wasn't that red afterward. My brown spots and freckles are either totally gone or very light now, so I'm going back for the recommended additional 2 more. It's pricey ($435 for recommended microdermabrasion and 1 PhotoFacial session), but worth it if you want your age spots gone. The space is small, but the results are worth it. Rebecca's very knowledgable about skin.

I wasted a lot of money at EpiCenter
Epi Center Medspa is probably fine for facials, but I don't recommend them for any attempt at permanent hair removal. I have dark hair/ light complexion, the type that's supposed to work optimally for laser hair removal (actually, they use LightSheer IPL). After six treatments spaced out over a year and over $1700, it did little better than waxing would have. Within 6-7 months after the last treatment, virtually all the hair returned. On the intake session, they explain that they're going to do "hair removal" and that it will permanently remove about 15% of the hair permanently each time, which isn't true... I've since read the FDA says IPL is only "hair reduction" and not guaranteed as permanent. In my case it was money down the drain. I'm not saying it doesn't work on some people, and it may be that some systems work better than others (I've since had some done on an Aurora laser, and it seemed to work better with less pain) but what EPI Center promised versus what was delivered was a joke. Moreover, there was no guarantee or program of providing additional treatments until you're satisfied, something that is offered by many of the laser chains.

Just because a place looks slick, don't believe for a second that it will deliver on its promises.

The best of the best!
I was referred to Epi Center by three of my closest friends. They all have been going there for years, for numerous treatments including Restylane and Botox (Anessa is said to be phenomenal), Photofacials (ask for Jennifer), Laser Hair Removal (Rebecca makes it allmost fun), and the best skin care (Laura will whip your skin into perfection). I am used to going to generic spa/salons for facials and skin care but now I am hooked on this place...The results speak for themselves. Not only that but these people obviously love what they do and believe in what they do. Ask any of the young ladies at the front desk and they will excitedly jump in with what products they use and what they get done. Full of very valueable insight! I know that all of my friends, myself included are extremely impressed with what we have experienced and seen at The Epi Center. My mom is flying in from Switzerland for Christmas and I plan to buy her the works for a gift. She is used to only the best and I KNOW that she will be thoroughly impressed.

Best laser hair removal in SF
I have been coming to Epi Center for YEARS and I absolutely do not have to shave ever again. I have had multiple areas done and the nurses are so kind and discreet. I have friends that have tried other places and ultimately they all end up at the Epi Center. Now I am having photo facial treatments and Botox. I look younger ever year!

not worth the $$
I went to this center for Laser Hair removal for 3 years. NEVER have i been seen by the doctor. I have been seen by various (nurses) and staff. Everyone one of them would make up their own rules. After 3 years, I stopped going because I saw no improvement. I would stay away
