I bought an Indian Autumn slate to use in my back yard from Emser tile about 5 years ago. It's gorgeous and pretty thick. It seemed like pretty good quality. The stuff on my BBQ island 5 years later still looks perfect. However, the stuff near my lawn is flaking up a storm. It's a bit disappointing, but not really Emser's fault or anything. We just need to constantly seal it. I wish that someone would have given me an FYI, this is a terrible idea lecture about having it so close to the lawn.

I remember we got a good price on the tile and that for some reason, we picked it up ourselves which was a bit of an ordeal. You can see their warehouse from Miramar Road. I think I even bought the tile over the phone after finding out that they carried it.

Good selection of stone, very nice quality. Knowledgeable sale staff and very willing to help. Buying stone flooring can be a bit overwhelming and these guys know how to make you more comfortable.
