Jewelry MYSTERIOUSLY VANISHES
The care was OK until the day my Mom died and her wedding rings (which she REFUSED to remove from her finger) disappeared. Without a 24/7 nanny cam in my Mom's room we culd never PROVE their staff took her rings, but since we were there ...

Great Place...IF YOU LIKE PIRATES! by Linda T. at InsiderPages
My mother lived there for four months. She went in with her wedding rings, and was seen with them by severeal vistiting family members up to the day before she died. She never left the facility, and upon the discovery of her death, her rings mysteriously disappeared. AND HERE'S WACKY HOOT OF A COINCIDENCE...I MEAN A REAL KNEE SLAPPER..Coincidentally, the staff member who found her body was too distraught over finding her dead to ever report back to work. Rings gone...employee gone. Hmmm.

I recommend this place as long as you lock up any thing valued over $5, or set up a hidden nanny cam, as the low-life scum I refer to as the staff and administrators, may not be able to resist helping themselves to YOUR family heirlooms. The attitude and posture they take when confronted is something like: Oh well. We never saw it, so it never existed. Too bad for you. You can't prove we took anything. And they say it with a straight face and a complete lack of empathy or conscience. The reeling, grieving family is left with no choice but to just ACCEPT it, because, SILLY US...we didn't SEE anyone take them. It's almost an attitude of entitlement...like a TIP at a restaurant, if you will. So, if you LIKE personal violation, then this is your kind of place.

Staff are caring by Rebecca A. at InsiderPages
We were looking for a place for my mom that was closer to my sister and I. She is currently not in assisted living and had fears that she was needing more care quickly. My sister and I talked to the staff over the phone and we both visited the facility. We felt comfortably that Summerville at Heritage Place would have been a possible option if my mom's condition were to get worse.
