Adore this joint
I eat at El Taco Asaco regularly. You'll find three rooms total along with a couple of tables outside for dining. The menu has all issues Mexican and also the food is fresh and authentic, just like I encounter in Mexico. From ceviche within the heavy glass goblet with saltines to no less than 12 selections of tacos, you can not go wrong here. The salsa is fresh and just spicy sufficient. Soft drinks or iced teas are mucho grande, excellent for spending time inside the desert. Becoming a chilaquiles fan, I let you know their plate with red sauce and chicken is very best within the desert. Do not anticipate 'fine dining' here, just excellent Mexican food--breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Outstanding authentic Mexican in Palm Springs‎
I spent my childhood and adolescence in Mexico City and my early adult years in San Antonio, Texas. I know real Mexican food, and this is the real deal. The tacos are superb, particularly the carne asada and al pastor. The folks at the grill know their stuff. The quesadillas are monstrous and done just right: slightly oozing without being greasy. The salsa roja is hot, flavorful and bright. The only downside was the uninspiring flauta (not deep fried enough to be dead on and the chicken was a tad dry) but that is a very minor quibble. The restaurant's atmosphere is humble (leaning towards the downright plain) but the eats cannot be beat. I can't wait to try some of their other menu items. Highly recommended.‎

Killer tacos for really cheap, as well as a really complete menu of all the typical Mexican favorites. I especially like the carnitas tacos. Definitely worth the trip. ...

Reasonable, authentic Mexican‎
Great, carne asada, carnitas, even birria! Fresh salsas (red & green upon request) & chips, beer available. The fajitas are my favorite. Good mix of local and hispanic clientele. Service sometimes can be slow, but the help is always warm and friendly. Take Out business is brisk too.‎

Super good food
This is kind of a hole-in-the-wall space located in a strip mall. There are maybe 10 tables and the layout is awkward. Don't let this stop you. It is one of my favorite Mexican places in town. Great food, friendly service and very reasonable ...
