Being a mexican, I really don't have any high expectations on mexican food in countries different to mine. If I find something good on a menu, I stick to it.
With very low expectations and expecting a chaotic failure, we decided to try this restaurant.
1. We went on a Sat at noon.
2. A girl came to us quickly, smiled and gave us a table.
3. Menus and drinks came quickly.
4. No chips and salsa, we waited to see what we get on the dish first.
5. We ordered a steak chimichanga and a chicken enchilada. Both came with some chips, so we ordered some salsa.
The salsa was mild, but had flavor and texture.
Pros:
The steak chimichanga had a good flavor.
So did the chicken enchilada.
Cons:
The chimi had a ton of beans, we understood that we ordered the one with beans, but we were not sure how many they were. It had a lot. The chimi had flavor and meat. It's big size.
The chicken enchilada had great flavor, I will skip the beans next time and only order it with rice.
Our waitress came from time to time to make sure we were fine, bill came next with no problems and we left pretty content.
Would I recommend this place? Only when it's less crowded and by staying at the food I got to know first.
Will I return?
Yes, why not? So I can try more dishes and decide if I make additions to my options, however, the rest is nachos, tacos and quesadillas. I would stay with enchiladas, that was pretty good.
