Quality Eye Care & FANTASTIC Eyewear!!
I was treated like family from the minute I walked into the office - with a warm smile and greeting. OMG, my first thought was that I've never been to an optometry practice, where there were SO many trendy eyeglass and sunglass frames from which to chose! It was actually fun to chose a pair of glasses for once. The frame stylists really know how to chose a perfectly fitting and looking frame on my face, and the Doctor not only checked my eye health (more thoroughly than I have ever had them examined), but he actually took the time to EXPLAIN everything to me -- loved it! He also gave me a perfect eyeglass prescription, so I no longer have headaches. I highly recommend!!!

Great Designer Frames, Great Doctor, Great Service...
Oh c'mon, jetsepe, give 'em a break in your review... I've been a happy customer of El Sobrante Optometry for years and years now. I was due for my yearly eye exam around the time you said you were seen there, and I know for a fact that, as luck would have it, both their printer and lens grinding machine were down then temporarily.

So I got my receipt and glasses a little later than usual. Big deal, especially since they usually make my glasses in less than an HOUR! I got a nice Tom Ford eyeglass frame this year with trivex and anti-reflective coating, which was recommended by Daisy. Best money I've ever spent on a pair of glasses.

Not only that, the extremely knowledgeable and personable staff and doctor have always treated me with the utmost professionalism and kindness, and now that all of the equipment has been upgraded and computerized, I don't know how anyone can complain. You probably happened to catch them when their printer and lens grinder was down temporarily...

The Worst Customer Service
I always like Oakley glasses because of the quality and style. Almost 3 weeks ago ( a Saturday), I went to El Sobrante Optometry for an Oakley prescription glasses based on Oakley website's list of retailers around my area. My original co-pay according to them is $176.00 (my insurance paid for the rest), I handed them the money ($176) in cash. They did not even bother to give me a receipt and they told me my glasses will be ready in a week. I received a phone call 2 days after (a Monday) that they miscalculated my balance and that I owe them $40 more. I said no problem. I just want my prescription glasses but I didn't get it until 2 1/2 weeks after. When I got it, it is in a carton box instead of metal box like in Oakley website for this model. I felt I got scammed. Still no receipt. They said that they have no ink for their printer and that they will just mail me my receipt. If that is not a bad customer service, I don't what is. I bought and paid for the glasses, got delivered after 2 1/2 weeks instead of 1 week as promised, no receipt at all and the worst is it was given to me in a different box instead of what is on Oakley website.

An Optometrist you can trust by Tracy N. at InsiderPages
I've been seeing Dr. Adjari for a couple of years now and have been very happy with the kind of service he provides. He is very pleasant to deal with and very thorough with his eye exams. HIs office reception is very friendly too and very efficient. I got my glasses fairly quickly after ordering it from them.
