This place is not worth the $$$ or the drama‎
El Camino Ranch is a very nicely landscaped ranch situated in the orange groves of Redlands. It seems great when you tour the place, and the owner LaVesta does a pretty good job of selling the ideals of the ranch and how great her horses are. Unfortunately, its not until you've paid her hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars before you realize what a rip-off it is. LaVesta has hired many different lesson instructors over the years, with varying degrees of experience. She always seems to get it wrong and fires the good ones and keeps the bad ones. Same thing with the trainers. Meanwhile she charges quite a bit more than the going rate for horse shows. The training and lesson fees aren't bad. But as soon as you want to go to a show you'll end up paying close to $1000 when it should be closer to $300 MAX.
