Finally my husband and I said we're never going to this Dr. again. They don't respect the patients' time; concerns or questions. Very condesending attitude toward questions, as if "How dare YOU (lowly patient) ask me a question!!"

From the freezing room temperatures where you are put to wait sometimes over an hour (and they know this, since they get complaints from the patients) to the freezing personalities (unless you're a cute guy, then the nurses seem to gush). The entire office acts as if the patients are a necessary evil. At first, I thought they were all just having a bad day, but EVERY day with them is a bad day.

I also have a problem with the constant pushing of her "private label" products. They act as if "aging skin" is their speciality, but I have yet to have any good results with their products or lasers. My skin has turned out raw and sore (and I am a very high compliancy patient).

Personally, I'm a professional and expect to be treated like one. I do not have ONE doctor that expects their patients to wait as long as she does. And I go to doctors that are extremely busy and good at their job -- they just (gasp) respect their patients, unlike Dr. Effron's office.

Well, this is one less patient (actually two, including my husband) that will be waiting an hour in her waiting room!

Treated my mate for the wrong thing. Many creams and pain later we asked our friends for another Dr.. Went to him, he emitted he could not help and give us a referral! Now their ok, but still some scares from the prolonged, wrong treatment

Though you may have some wait time involved, you get what you pay for. Dr. Effron gives a full regiment to take care of your needs, so you either do it and GET RESULTS...or you don't. Dr. Effron is result oriented and will work with people who are serious about taking care of them selves. Her successful practice of 25 years speaks for it self. I myself and my entire family have had excellent results for years.

In addition, she worked with me in a time when I was financially strapped. Her products work great, especially her facial firming. Also I was pleased with my cosmetic filler results.

I saw Dr. Effron many many years ago for my cystic acne. She was very nice and spent time with you, but I do recall long waits at her office. Also, it seemed like every time I went to her office, I came home with more and more products to add to my regime. It got pretty ridiculous. Plus, I could never go out after an appointment. She was pretty aggressive with my acne. She would poke at a cyst with a needle to either aspirate it or inject it with steroids, which hurt a lot. After the torture, I would go home with a huge gauze bandage on my face. One time she even scarred me (a small deep pit). Just to clarify, my face isn't broken out all over the place, but I would get 2-3 painful cysts, and she never once talked about oral treatments. I eventually went to a different doctor. I think my skin was irritated from all the topical ointments she had me on, and the new doctor put me on an oral antibiotic which had the best results I had ever gotten.
