I went in to see Dr. Pavel first for a consult. He was friendly, genial and generally what I thought was a good find. Then I actually had the surgery, which was all four of my wisdom teeth being extracted. When I woke up from anesthesia, I was incredible pain. I have fibromyalgia and occasionally any kind of trauma pain is multiplied manifold, of which i had informed Dr. Pavel at the consult. I did my best to yell for a nurse, and she told me she would go talk to the doctor and get something to bring my pain down to a manageable level. I never saw her again. I went through the same process with two other nurses. I asked them if i could just take the pain medication i already had in my purse right next to me but was denied. By this time even more of the anesthesia had worn off and the pain was incredible. I admit my protests were pretty loud at that point, but for ten minutes my pain had increased and increased and i was almost out of my mind with it. Finally Dr. Pavel came up but ...

Dr. Eckstein is wonderful. The office is very nice, new and pleasant. The approach to handling the finances is a bit aggressive and abrupt I do think it could be handled better. ...
