My Mother

In 1995 my mother had a stroke and I moved her to Tucson where I live. One of the things the family and my mother decided to do was get a cremation set up for her, which we did. The People at East Lawn Palms were great. A few months before she passed away we had to put her into a home care and they had the information for her. When she passed they called East Lawn and everything was taken care of fast and easy. Plan to do the same for my husband and I.

Arrangements

I went to make arrangement for my only friend of 30 years! I expected to see a funeral director! The front desk sent me to the cemetary office! They had no funeral director there at that time. The woman at the cemetary was not a funeral director and only talked about wills and estate planing! I left with no arrangements and he died shortly after leaving me in a "What to do state" I would never use them!‎

Funeral experiences can vary because the people you deal with in these places are essentially salesman; like other salesmen, they come and go and some are better and more experienced than others. East Lawn, though, is generally accepted as being one of the best funeral homes in Tucson, perhaps the best; its the default choice on the east side of town. Originally local, it is now owned by a nationwide funeral chain. It has a very large room available for holding services, with plenty of parking.‎
