Amazing place that has become our additional Family
Although my son does not attend this specific center in Seattle, he goes to the Lynnwood Center on Alderwood Mall Pkwy. I can not rave enough about this amazing place. We have been so luck y as to have been apart of this family since My son was 1, now 3 years later, these people are ones I would consider a part of our family. As a place that probably sees my child more than I do, I feel confident every one working there loves and cares for my son almost as much as I do. I wouldn't want it any other way. In fact I am actually nervous about having to find a school for kindergarden knowing I will never be as lucky as I have been with ELDC.

I love this school
My daughter has gone here for 4 years (1 day at 1 year, 2 days at 2 years, 3 days at 3 years, and 4 days at 4 years).

She has always received the BEST care and loves all her teachers.

They have a good blend of learning, fun, and field trips.

Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive.

My daughters second home!
My child went there from 2001-2004 she was happy heathy and well taken care of. The rooms were very open and welcoming with their half doors conecting all of the rooms together. I really felt safe that their was such an open enviroment because people are careful about what they do and say when other are watching. Which meens my child was cared for and mentored by careful and rasional people. Being my first child I was ridden with guilt for leaving her to go to work ,and scared of all of the horor stories we are constantly bombarded with everyday in the news. I loved that each teacher could see one another and their were men and woman so their was good role models of both sexes. Everyone was engaging and loving toward my child. She thought of them as aunts and uncles. The staff is educated in childcare and well spoken and the have great welcoming personalities. Me and Shai loved this place and all of these years later my daughter still has fond memories of ELDC.

My son loves it by Holly A. at InsiderPages
I would recommend ELDC to anyone. My son has been going since he was 18 mo.. We are coming up on our 1yr anniversary. The staff are all very warm and friendly. Lots of cultural diversity. I find it hard to believe that any child was battered as the last person commented. The staff are all well educated in Early child dev. and there is a lot of open communication. The director is also very approachable. They provide warm meals and diaper service as part of the tuition, which is by the way quite reasonable for the Seattle area. There is a good ratio of teachers to children. And I believe that they are NAEYC certified.

There are worse places ...
Unfortunately, our child was a bit battered here and the staff seem unequipped to deal with the problem. We liked this place a lot when we first went: one of the few with part-time availability, prorated costs, family events (really nice), preschool program (also rare) for little ones -- ages 2,3,4. Also very multicultural. Unfortunately, the injured child was deal breaker.
