Prepaid reservations, no availability the day of rental
I rented from EagleRider twice, both through their Seattle (Des Moines, WA) location. The first time, I booked a Harley. At the time I made the reservation, I had to prepay for the entire duration of the rental, a full tank of gas and their highest end insurance even though I did not want to purchase anything other than the rental. When I showed up two weeks later, all they had was a Honda. They apologized and gave me a 10% discount towards my next rental.
The second time around, I booked a BMW. Again, I had to prepay for the rental, but I was able to avoid the full tank of gas and the insurance. The day before my rental, they called me and told me that they do not have any motorcycles available and there is nothing they can do to fix the issue. Now that this now the second time this has happened, I don’t think I will rent from EagleRider again.
Pros : Good selection of motorcyles, fair prices.
Cons : You prepay for reservations, but it is a hit or a miss the day of the rental. (More miss than hit for me.)
