This church is awesome. I can't say enough about this church. I'm so glad that my boy-friend Tre took me there one Sunday. I had my doubts, but now I'm devoted to Eagle Rock Baptist Church. I was baptized Roman Catholic when I was a baby and the church hasn't done anything for me now, but when I went here to this church Oh! Boy! ,I fell in love with this church and the people who make you feel so welcome. I call this church my church. And the band is awesome as well. I go every weekend. And on Easter Sunday I'm gonna be baptized.

I've never been as warmly welcomed into a church that I visited for the first time as I was when I visited Eagle Rock Baptist. As soon as I stepped out of my car in the parking lot there were people waiting to greet me and show me around. The pastor's teaching was exactly what I needed that week. The music was great. My kids loved the class that the church had for them. I'm definitely going back.

While searching for a church home, I found this one on the web and I'm glad I did. Everyone I met was very friendly. I connected with people from my first visit. The sermon was easy to follow and challenging. The music was inspiring. I got several invitations to join a small group. Now I just need to decide which one will work best for me.

I had just arrived in L.A. and didn't know anyone. When I visited this church I was immediately welcomed. The people are genuine and caring. Solid, practical Bible teaching. Great music, and lots of opportunities to get involved.

In short ~ I got absolutely nothing from the pastors message, not even a smile, in the several weeks I attended. The people seem too involved with each other to welcome a new face. I have since found much more inviting churches in the area. Best not to lower your standards and move on.
