Fed Up wtih Tucson Feed by Gail S. at InsiderPages
If you care about your animals, you'd best read the use by/sell by dates on this place's products! It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to blow off the customer when it's brought to your attention. The behavior of the upper level staff there is rude but it was being overlooked because the place is closest to the far east side of Tucson and we believe in supporting independents. HOWEVER, after spending $150 per month there for high quality dog food and equestrian supplies, I am through. I noticed today when I was emptying my pet food bags into our bins, that the Blue Buffalo dog kibble use by date was August, 2009; the cat food was use by January, 2009, and another type of the same dog food use by date was February 2nd, 2009.
A number of you will overlook this, as well, it is pet food, but consider this: I am paying $2.29 per pound for this dog food - I only pay around $1.79 for chicken breasts! so I expect the product to be up to date.
I called and received a rather rude response that I should bag the food back up and bring it in for an exchange. On top of that I was told, So we missed a couple bags...
Wow. And in this economy. Thumbs down on this place, and I am spreading the word.
